I wish I would have seen your post earlier. Stupid broker chart only shows 3 days on the TICK screen I use for trading. I have a channel going back a week or more that can only be seen on a 30 minute or longer setting. I went short right near the line and walked away to get some coffee. By the time I got back, I was down too big to eat it. It's a small position so I'm letting it ride as a hedge against my long term stuff. That last hour basically just hit the fib of the day's drop so it could easily resume the plunge Monday. I think a lot of bulls are looking at this as a double bottom and will plunge in long. The closing ramp was likely shorts covering, op ex max pain games and dressing for the news so J6P doesn't panic seeing the S&P down over 100. Pretty impressive though, cut the losses in half.
