You are not going to get a phone equivalent to an Apple phone for $100. The top Samsung phones are not really much cheaper than Apple phones either.

I went from a Samsung to Apple about 7 years ago and never look back. FWIW, my Samsung phone battery fsded and while there were a lot of replacements, none was really as good than the original.

My choice for Android would be one of the Pixel phones, because they have a clean Android operating system without all the junk that Samsung or the carriers are adding. Apple phones don’t have this issue.

I currently use an iPhone 10 which still runs great and looks as new. It will be handed to my son in time.
