In all seriousness, you really never answered my question:
Why "You" always speak of SUNW as if it is a human being who
has done an awful thing to you and now you are out there to get
your revenge?!

My speculation is that twister works for product marketing
department of some competitor of Sun. (DEC? HP? MSFT?)
Those folks often focus on the negatives of competitors and
digging dirt on the competition (the way political campaigns work).
I read somewhere about some dude at Microsoft who has McNealy pictures
on his wall. where he delivers a nail every time he thinks
he has succeeded in sticking it to Sun. I am sure there are similar
folks at Sun/Oracle too.
So he may even be getting paid to do this :-)

From an investors perspective, my SUNW holding bought many years
ago on hunch after using their products has balooned to be a
large part of my portfolio. I look for
reasons to diversify out of it but current 20% growth rate and
future outlook looks good enough to me. It is good to have bears like
him to prevent us from falling in love with stocks and evaluate
the downside as perceived by competitors too.

But twister has not managed to convince me that only friends
of Microsoft will survive and all others will die. I think
Enterprise computing space (since IBM) has never had one
dominant player and there are fundamental reasons
why it will not follow the PC trend and generate a monopoly.
So SUNW stands as good a chance as IBM, CPQ, HWP as long as
it can deliver products that make enterprise work better.
At the moment I pick SUNW.
