Their defense seems a bit down from last year. Maybe because Xavien Howard isn't 100 percent (he's been listed as questionable but then plays), maybe because their offense has often struck quicker leaving their defense on the field longer, maybe because its only 3 games and they've played against good (Mac Jones) and excellent (Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen) QBs. But while they have given up a lot of passing yards they've made some important stops when they needed to late in games and only gave up a ton of points to Baltimore (38 compared to 26 combined for New England and the Bills)

Their offense OTOH looks much better. Better offensive coaches, better O-Line (moved from perhaps worst in the NFL to maybe average, perhaps better than average), bringing in Hill, and with another year to improve for Tua and Waddle. Their running game still isn't a strength but it wasn't last year either, while their passing game is dangerous perhaps the top 1-2 receiver combo in the league, a good receiving TE in Gesicki and competent if unspectacular receivers behind them. Ingold at FB doesn't have stats, but he was a good pickup by the team. Some of those catches and runs by Dolphins receivers are because of his blocks down the field.

I wish they didn't have that whole tampering situation. They would have had two first round picks in the next draft otherwise, but at 3-0 I'll leave worrying about the draft until later.
