#RIP former Royal Navy pilot Captain Vyvyan Howard who passed away last week at the age of 102. Shot down and captured during WWII, Howard was the last remaining survivior of Stalag Luft III. He assisted in the POW breakout attempt dramatized in the 1963 film THE GREAT ESCAPE. twitter.com
