There's a lot to both agree and disagree with in that article. I won't go into all the details because I think there's enough information out there now that those who are really interested could find it and make up their own mind. Instead, I will focus on one incredible dichotomy:
Goodnow also has dissected another powerful myth: that vaccines stop transmission.
Many people have long assumed that being fully immunized means they can’t get infected. “That’s another bit of hubris I carried — up until very recently,” says Goodnow.
Wait, woah, is this seriously "an internationally renowned immunologist" making this statement? I think it's 1-1.5 years ago now that I posted actual data from countries that demonstrated this to be the case. I was treated as a heretic and called a danger to society. And we now have Dr. Birx saying she knew this as early as December 2020, and even the CDC finally came out and admitted this after it was undeniable. Yet this guy, an immunologist, still believed this until "very recently"? It makes me think this guy is incapable of thinking for himself and was so brainwashed that he still believed this even after it was common knowledge that the vaccines never prevented transmission. It makes it hard for me to respect anything he says in that article. Seriously, these are the "professionals" that we're listening to?
We apparently don't have real Dr's anymore, but only robots programmed to swallow and propagate the party line. It's really not difficult to see how we've come to this state, if you take the time to understand the dynamics behind it. I think this immunologist is a perfect example of how the power of the crowds works. I'd like to think most Dr's actually know better, and are just pressured into going along with the narrative, but this guy really makes me question that. Also, I'm not sure which scenario is worse, to be honest, as they're both pretty abhorrent.

Did you notice this guy was quadruple-vaxxed? So he's gotten the worst of all worlds. Given the profile of him laid out in the article, the risk/reward for the vax for him makes no sense to me, but that's just my perspective (and of course, he lives in the authoritarian state of Australia, where you take the vax or get put in an internment camp). But there's lots of data coming out now about the potential side effects of the vax, including several peer-reviewed studies that say the risk of myocarditis/pericarditis is multiple times higher from the vax than it is for Covid itself (it does depend on your age, gender, etc). |
