Me too, but that's not going to happen anytime soon. Not until the death toll of RuZZians in Ukraine reaches a quarter million.

One thing that gives me a bit of optimism is this. The average RuZZian citizen does NOT have a death wish. They're not suicidal maniacs. They're not loyal fighters who are willing to die for Mother RuZZia. They just want to live their lives in peace and a semblance of normalcy.

And for all the autocratic power that PooTin has, he STILL needs to jump through political hoops before reaching a state where he can resort to his nuclear option without pushback from his inner circle.

That's why he needs to push these referen-dumbs.

That's why he needs to call mobilization "partial," even though that's a complete lie.

That's why he's allowing debate over the nuclear option on statec-controlled media.

He STILL needs to sell all of these crazy-ass ideas to the public.

And bit by bit, the public is starting to reject his orders.

Because who wants to die for a desperate gambler who is going all-in with their own lives?
