I did a quick run through using todays QQQ option prices.

Selling monthlies would have resulted in $100 in premium sold ATM

Selling weeklies would have resulted in $200 in premium sold ATM

Using the opening price of each month and week bar on the chart. Starting at QQQ $400.

So at $275 QQQ the monthly call sells would have brought the overall price to $375, a drop of $25.

So at $275 QQQ the weekly call sells would have brought the overall price to $475 a gain of $75.
