Golfer, it's foolish to deny that mankind (sorry, "peoplekind") has an effect on the environment. That's pretty ignorant. The air quality problems in Asia alone should be more than enough proof.

It's also foolish to think that the current warming trends across the globe would have happened with or without mankind (sorry, "peoplekind"). In the past 12 years of living in Silicon Valley, I've had to install a new central air conditioning unit in my home. We are also facing a historic drought and wildfires galore. There's just too many trends that can be chalked up to "coincidence."

However, I believe we shouldn't try and stop the climate from changing, which is what the current batch of environMENTALists want us to do, especially the eco-nuts who are part of the so-called "Extinction Rebellion."

Instead, we should do what we've always done, which is to adapt. Mankind (sorry, "peoplekind") is THE most adaptable species on Earth, and we can continue to do so even as we put additional stressors on the environment.
