One gap typically, and after a change in trend. 3907 was the pivot high that preceded the recent change in trend, so that's where you measure from to the center of the gap from Sept. 23. You take the center point of that gap, subtract it from 3907, and subtract it from the center point of the gap to get the target, which is about 2575 SPX.

If you use the 2-gap center point, you get about 3525 SPX for the target. Nice catch!
