That too, and he still has the nuclear capability of the Soviet Union, with modernized hypersonic ICBMs. He was pretty straightforward, he wants NATO off his border. You want all of that flying your way? Then keep war mongering. Sure Russia gets destroyed too, but the US will be a nuclear wasteland. It’s called mutually assured destruction, a forgotten concept. If we think nothing will fly back we should just nuke Russia and be done with it. Why bother with proxies?

In 2014 the western media still showed Ukrainian nazis and the burning of people alive in Odessa. Now it’s all gone. Like western radio in Soviet Union, shhhhh….. on that frequency -ggg- Putin is not the only one totalitarian, we have to worry about that at home. Freedom of speech is pretty much gone, so will be free elections most likely.

Ukrainian-Russian war would not be here if Ukraine did not try to join NATO. At first everything could be settled with a neutral status for Ukraine without bloodshed and putting going in. But we needed a proxy to poke the bear.
