DII Group's Linked Marketing Strategy Provides Added Value

LONGMONT, Colo., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Dovatron International, the
contract electronics manufacturing unit of The DII Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:DIIG),
today announced that it has entered into a long-term manufacturing agreement
with Westell Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:WSTL). The terms of this agreement
have not been disclosed.
Westell Technologies is the Parent Company for Westell Inc., Conference
Plus Inc. and Westell WorldWide Services Inc. Westell Inc. is a leading
worldwide manufacturer and integrator of telecommunications transmission
systems, digital subscriber line (xDSL) systems and telecommunications access
products.
Dovatron will provide a variety of full turnkey assembly solutions to
Westell from two of its eight worldwide factories, located in New York and
Ireland. Integral to the partnership, are the complementary services and key
technological components to be provided by other DII Group companies. The DII
Group serves the global electronics original equipment and outsourcing
industries through seven strategic business channels in addition to Dovatron.
Leveraging the technical expertise and operational synergy of The DII Group
companies develops customer solutions. The DII Group can provide enhanced
customer speed-to-market during product development and into high volume
phases of production, as in the case of the Dovatron-Westell partnership where
