Some of the deep thinkers in our DoS need to be fired for stupidity.
No kidding.

Imagine if you will that a cargo ship is entering harbor in Cuba or Caracas in the near future. Its neutrally flagged so slipped through the fingers of our so called intelligence services. As a response to the Ukraine attempt to join NATO - Russia or some proxy sets up a missile base with both IRBM's and Satan Hypersonic missiles as well as anti-aircraft systems and the personnel to man them.

Along with the rollout of those systems - aircraft and other personnel arrive.

How do all our cold warriors here feel? Are you ok with that? Be careful with what you wish for in the Russia, Russia, Russia panic.

I am no fan of Russia - but kicking a hornets nest, or jumping in to protect every corrupt regime on the planet is not a good strategy.

Do we want the Russians interfering in areas we actually need to care about?
