I hadn't heard Stadia was shutting down, that's pretty astounding.

Even Google's deep pockets couldn't keep it afloat? Maybe Apple has the better idea with keeping their Apple Arcade service low cost ($5/mo.) but high with quality games, now over 200 of them I guess.

It's basically an add-on service to pull more customers into the Apple ecosystem, and all family members can use it with a single subscription cost if it's set up that way.

I never checked out the differences in the newer cloud gaming services like Stadia and Apple Arcade were. Steam has been around a long time now and with GOG.com, Epic, and Netflix now getting into it, the market is very crowded.
