Ron,
I'll give a go at commenting here about LW. Have had it about a year and now on v8.02. Use bmi delayed and follow only about 200 stocks and a dozen futures and options. I am a very simple investor with simple rules. Afraid to get into anything I don't understand until I've got time to study it!!
I am into only the simplest filters, don't daytrade, and use it to help me pull the trigger on the sell side. Use Q+ to screen down to 800-1000 or so, run that list thru Omnitrader, then insert that bunch into LW. Would love to get Q+ data into LW, but work around it. Have inserted the entire nasdaq a couple times, but it overloads my 133. That is another project...to filter the whole market, see what is breaking loose on volume or price jumps, and get REALLY NUTS (ggg!))
Bill Sundusky awhile back on prodigy convinced me, and he's right. Hello Bill! This program will take me a long time to get its full potential, mainly because I don't put in the time needed. I can grow into it for years to come. For me, I don't think I can outgrow it.
Just finding out about these boards here. The old prodigy is dead. Too bad about the petty stuff that caused the old crew to go. I have learned from them. I'll never be able to go thru all the posts, but will try.
At any rate, if you want input from a beginner... and from someone who checks in once in a while, not every day... Mike in N.E. OH |
