Over the years I've noticed leftist narrative typically begin with "some event in the future will be horrific". For instance, "Trump is a fascist", when he gets in office, civil liberties will be curtailed. Global Warming will kills us all! The economy will crater with Trump tax policies. Straight talking China and enacting tariffs will kill the economy and they will retaliate. I could go on, but I think you get the drift. Always about some future prediction. If we are going to view folks with future predictions as having good information or bad, past predictions are the only thing we have to go on. What's that mutual fund prospectus statement "past performance is no guarantee of future results". True, but it's one of the best tools we have to select a good mutual fund. Sticking with the analogy, Ritter is the worst performing mutual fund in the S&P 500. His past predictive performance, despite pronouncing them with absolute certainly is terrible. So terrible in fact, he should be investigated by the SEC. :) We should know that when viewing anything he says today.
