i continue to hold some shares of bwel , i checked briefly and based on prices for farmland in california alone the company continues to sell at a good discount to that value. if you toss in everything else they own and the potential alternative use of their water rights it makes sense to continue to own some. Now i regret being fully invested. so many bargains out there. this is like covid redoux. this looks to me like another once in a decade opportunity for long term investors. this may be one of those times where you can throw a dart at the list of stocks and be right. and be up 50% in two years. as far as some of my stuff of goes STWD paying distributions of over 10% now. Qcom pe something like 10-11. RITM just getting hammered. ( that may be justified but at the last conference call the ceo said that they were planning for higher interest rates).
BIDU/BABA just keeps going down every day as do the Media stocks PARA/WBD/SBGI . meanwhile they all own assets that should be inflation proof and globally expandable.. FFXDF - now a money loser for me as well. fairfax announced that the company will be buying back shares up to 10% a year .I believe the discount to nav is quite large and continue to hold all my shares. MAC is down to covid levels and paying a decent dividend so i continue to hold that one. On the inlflation my local grocery raised their sale price of one gallon almond milk form $4.99 to $5.99. last time i was in target the price for that was $4.79. so i will check that out. OTOH I got a pair of jeans at costco for $5!
