One persons perceived emotion based analysis, is the other persons critical thinking.

Face it, Ritter and his emotion based analysis have been the poorest of the poor. He's likely to continue down that same road in the future. His analysis is deeply flawed, whether it's based on an emotional attachment to Russia, or something else, doesn't really matter. It's the results that do.

Some have followed his analyst and weighed it as great thinking, even brilliant. Others have weighed is as badly wanting, lacking in critical thinking and bordering on the typical leftist combination of "ignorance and arrogance".

Whether those followers came to that conclusion based on reason, analysis or emotion is not important. What is important is the accuracy of the assessment. We should all examine our biases and self-examine whether they are interfering with our critical thinking. As a follower of Ritter, I wonder if you have?

I'll leave it up to you to decide if my perceived "good vs evil" has been in sync with Ritter and as grossly off the mark as he has been, or something closer to what has actually happened.

I said at the beginning it would be a war of attrition, and go on for many months.
I said at the beginning it was illogical to think Ukraine would just roll over and play dead, while allowing Russian troops to take over their country.
I said at the beginning Russian troops were not acting like a professional military organization, but more like a group of thugs with weapons.
I said at the beginning Russian troops were poorly trained.

Ritter said the opposite and you assessed it as brilliant. So, who's reasoning was emotion based?

Question; can Russia do evil things? Can they act in evil ways? Is there no possibility of that being possible? Or, does every view of Russia have a corresponding, "there is a lot of history, and we should seek to understand the deeper reason for their action" cloaked behind it?

I try my best to judge Russia based on their behavior. Indiscriminately invading another country, bombing their cities, schools, homes and killing innocent women and children, while threatening to launch nuclear weapons is evil.

There is no excuse for Russian actions and behavior. They didn't have to invade, murder and rape. They chose to.
