On the other side of Sicily on Salina island I got stung by a medusa while way out deep. On my upper arm. It took a year for the scar to fade. Holy moly. That was my last swim without first close inspecting exactly where I would have a little swim just off the rocks.

Other than that, it was great. Palermo is too Mafia-like for me. But Italy sure did have glory days long ago. The climate is how I'm designed to live. In summer.
