School is on break for the week. Just got word from Jack's minder before the Jack was delivered from his Badminton tuition to his group of friends doing camping this day and night at the Ocean Park, that the Jack slammed a good shot against his coach with such ferocity that he broke the strings-arrangement of the racket. The coach says the Jack is a natural. The racket is off to repairs.

The Jack doesn't care for games involving balls, so tennis is out of consideration.

Dunno. Perhaps chucking spears and such coming through. Issues is whether the chucking antecedent was a hunting African, marauding Mongolian or a farming Han. The Jack trains 2 hours per day over the week-long school break.

In the meantime the wife is standing by near the Coconut for the coming parents' week. She has been on station for 3 days for timezone adjustment and errands, and so far the Coconut had time enough for one dinner. They shall visit the Big Apple over the weekend at least for a day, to take in a show and acquire a Canada goose coat.

So far the Coconut has group's of friends, the studious sorts with who she studies at various spots around campus, her dorm mates including a super-disciplined early to sleep early to rise athlete (same as the Coconut), and the networks comprised of her interest groups, dancing, writing and farming. Have no idea where the interest for agriculture came from except that it be possibly related to her interest in plant cellular biology.

There are boys shuffling around, apparently, already. Second / third year students. We shall see how it all shakes out.

Birthday coming up.
