Can’t say I’m an expert, but - fossil fuels are by definition limited in supply. Even though there are many plausible theories that gas may be formed by bacteria in the ground - and may be, in a sense, “renewable”.

As I recall, the world uses circa 100 million barrels of oil daily. That’s a lot.

Wind and sunlight can never replace them - barring any revolutionary breakthroughs in solar. Like, for example, learning how to harvest solar energy from the surface of a sun drenched desert - to think of something out of the box.

The only sensible long term alternative is nuclear. But no woke will talk about it.
