You aren't getting what I'm saying.

Macs, as far as I know HAVE a mini jack that support lossless. They pretty much have to because of Logic Pro.

Phones and wireless ear buds and headphones don't support lossless because bluetooth doesn't support the large data flow that lossless demands. If you use bluetooth from your phone to your car stereo it's also downsampled.

Apple Music supports lossless downloads I believe... but you cannot listen to the files with phones, ear buds or headphones because they don't have jacks. IRONIC...

I don't know if pads have a jack. I'm guessing no.

The new midrange Androids don't have jacks this year. I was distressed about it until I realized I won't need it in my phones for years.

I have 2 iPods that still work and 2 Sony's that still have jacks. They should last for some time.

So I'll use them until bluetooth supports lossless. I'm assuming it will eventually. I hope.

I haven't looked up any of this except the bluetooth part which I skimmed, I'm relying on memory.

No gripe. Just ironic that Apple's high end products don't support its high end audio products.
