| | | Lazarus, it continues to amaze me that people are willing to die in nuclear conflagration for bung ideas based on simplistic CNN slogans and lies. What's more amazing is that when their faulty thinking and ignorance are pointed out, they double down. When people's words and dealing with new information don't make sense, it's because they have secret, maybe even to themselves, motivations that can't be discussed.
From what you wrote in that post, you look as though you are in that camp.
So, let's go. At present, you want to die in nuclear Armageddon coz Putin Bad! CNN say so. Coz Putin started it and attacked Ukraine, out of the blue, unprovoked war of choice to conquer all of Ukraine, all the old USSR and rebuild it, maybe all the way to Libya coz he's the new Hitler, along with Blitzkrieg through Belgium and over the English channel.
Is that about right? Or is he also going to sail over the Atlantic and conquer USA too? Or do you imagine he has more limited conquest aims?
But you are pretty sure he started it right?
Do you know what Victoria Nuland and Obama arranged in Kiev and how many Russians were murdered then and after the coup? Do you know that USA was developing Ukraine's military into a force ready to join NATO in attacks on Russia? Surely you know that because Ukraine has been doing really well in the war against Russia trying to protect Donetsk, Luhansk etc compared with how they'd have done if unarmed and with no anti-tank and anti-aircraft etc fancy-pants weaponry.
Ukraine is not "simply defending itself". Yulia Tymoshenko long ago threatened/promised to glass Russia [coz she/they have friends, namely USA who can do the glassing].
Ukraine was planning to kick Russia out of Sevastopol and Crimea BEFORE the annexation of Crimea. That's why Russia had to annex it. Crimea had been Russian for longer than San Diego had been American and I guess you wouldn't favour Russia backing Mexico to reclaim San Diego, loading up Tijuana with nuclear warheads, tanks and long-range artillery and rocketry. Also Cook Islands/New Zealand reclaiming Hawaii.
