Free trade isn't really "Free Trade" is it ? You could call it "Slave Trade" and it would be just as descriptive, wouldn't it? "Free Trade" was how the British got thrown out of India and allowed the likes of Gandi to power. How did that work out longer term? Just checking the local cotton trade.
Mind you we have a lot of people of Indian and Pakistani decent living here now, so maybe we are still up on the deal ? It's best not to crow about such things, it only invites a review from those who like to protest about such things, and even more immigrants. Something that should be carefully controlled at all times as the Nation's security is at stake in many, many ways.
I have just been reviewing a USA made product. The English guy is a good salesman, charming enough, and makes a good case to buy. I have not checked the price, I can imagine what it is, and the USD being what it is, will not help matters. The product looks to be the best going on the market. Sure it could be mass made in China, but it could be made anywhere I guess, including the good ol' US of A.
I found it entertaining & pleasant to watch anyway. A tender for the sailboat "Tally Ho".
