This is kinda funny, I think.

Recently I meant to watch the American series Satisfaction about a cheating wife:

But I instead accidentally started watching the Australian series Satisfaction about a luxury bordello in Melbourne.

It turned out to be pretty decent, so I watched all three seasons. Some of the attitudes seem parochial just 15 years later, and it doesn't really come to grips with all the issues, but I can see why it was popular.

Contemplating this misstep eventually made me realize that when recently watched the Irish series The Dry, which was pretty decent

I had actually meant to watch the Australian movie The Dry.

The reason I made these booboos is that I keep a list of "Series I Want to Watch Right Away", and I didn't specify clearly enough which series/movie I meant.

And these lists just grow and grow. I just checked and my current list has more than 100 entries. And looking a little further back on my notepad, I found two more lists from the past almost as big. I have watched over half of the oldest list, which I would guess if from 12 years ago, but not too much of the second one, maybe six years old.

Will I ever catch up? I was going to say, not unless I live to be a hundred, but realistically, the list is just going to keep on growing anyway, so probably not.

The accidental viewings have given me an idea, Accidental Double Bills, whereby I jointly review two (or more) movies that have the same, or even an opposite name, but are otherwise unconnected.
