Tenchu's Thoughts: Postmodernism, Trump, and the PooTin Cucks
I would like to thank Broken Cuck for finally confirming why the Q Continuum supports PooTin:
******* Here's the main difference between Putin and the US.
Here in the US we are in a time where words and the meaning of words is being destroyed. It's a cultural shift. You're definitely in that camp...as it suits you.
Putin simply says what he means and then does it. You act shocked when he does exactly what he said he would do.
*******
These words make it crystal clear to me. I'm reminded of this article from The Federalist, which was written back in January of 2017, on how Trump became the first postmodern president on the right:
Donald Trump Is The First President To Turn Postmodernism Against Itself (thefederalist.com)
Anyone who has followed my posts over the years should know that I have always railed against the evils of postmodernism. It all started during the Lewinsky scandal, when Bill Clinton blatantly said, "It all depends on what your definition of the word 'is' is," and it continued through the years as truth became more and more relative.
Of course, most people on this thread roll their eyes and start to get sleepy every time I bring up the subject of postmodernism, but whatever.
In any case, here's a wonderful passage from that article describing the appeal of Trump to his supporters:
*******
In other words: even if I have been a no-good, rotten, disgusting scoundrel, what does that make you? At least I don’t pretend to be decent; you people, on the other hand, have the gall to pretend that you’re any better than I am. Let’s dispense with the fiction that you would have treated me with any less contempt if I had bothered to live up to any of your standards of decency in the first place, and acknowledge that they have nothing to do with decency per se, and everything to do with power. Your presumption of any moral superiority is a willful, bald-faced lie, and I’m going to keep calling you on that crap until it puts me in the White House.
Many have argued that Trump is the product of political correctness (PC). This is true only in part. Rather, both PC and Trump’s response to it are fruits of the postmodernism that has long ascended to the heights of our culture: the nihilism in the common presumption that all truth is relative, morality is subjective, and therefore all of our individually preferred “narratives” that give our lives meaning are equally true and worthy of validation. Tony tellingly lectures his audience, “I always tell the truth, even when I lie.” His character was a man ahead of his time.
*******
This explains why the PooTin cucks are so fond of "whataboutisms."
RuZZia pulling gold teeth from their victims? RuZZia tortures Ukrainians, kills prisoners while they're bound and gagged, and targets civilians?
Bah, whatabout America? What about all the war crimes that they perpetrated in Iraq? Afghanistan? Vietnam? Libya?
RuZZia holding sham referen-dumbs and illegally conquering territory in a blatant throwback to imperialism?
Bah, whatabout America? All of American land is stolen land anyway. And we haven't even begun to talk about Great Britain and its long legacy of imperalism ...
In every single instance, the goal isn't to defend PooTin, but rather to disarm his detractors.
And because PooTin supposedly says what he means and does what he says, that makes him a bigger man than any hypocrite who dares to call PooTin evil.
It's almost scary to see the parallels between the PooTin cucks and the Trump supporters. And I'm reluctant to draw out these parallels, lest I end up in the "Anyone But Trump" camp.
But I can't ignore them, either. Not when I've spent an entire lifetime denouncing the evils of postmodernism.
In conclusion, I'd like to thank Broken Cuck for finally stating the truth about why he loves PooTin so much.
It has helped me to understand why the Q Continuum is so pro-RuZZia these days and why they are so willing to ignore the mistakes of history.
