ON SOME STOCKS IT COMES UP IN INCREMENTS OF A NICKEL. I TRIED TO SPLIT THE NICKEL WITH A 3 CENT BID AND IT PLACED.

Others allow penny increments , but never a fraction of a penny..

Not sure where or on what brings on the nickel increment?

I'm very pleased with TDA and Think or swim platform.

I've bounced around almost all brokers and consolidated my accounts with TDA.

Their assistance is 24/7/365 and I've never found a person that was not completely helpful and friendly.
