No doubt part of the reason Cohu is busier than many! Message 34031441 Unconfirmed tentative earnings webcast to be on 10/29/22. Can't help but think we have bottomed and are in the beginnings of an impulse wave up.Were in first wave up in the new impulsive wave. Waves 1 and 2 complete and we're in 2 of 3 of one up. stockcharts.com A short dip leading into earnings. I believe earnings will confirm Cohu is benefitting from 5G roll out for both infrastructure and yet to be seen real 5G smart hand sets, while coincidentally benefiting from the electrification of the automobile and continual research on battery plug in EV's, with autonomy still being in a research prototype phase. Industrial will with time benefit from the return of manufacturing to the US. The outsourcing to Asia from China is in need of testing and handlers as well. KLAC announces they'll halt shipping of certain equipment to China. China is the largest concentration of their equipment.That also is true for Cohu. Not sure how high tech their equipment is with regards to military chips. Mnay years ago Cohu announced the DOJ was studying if they had shipped restricted equipment to China and they were found to be IN COMPLIANCE. Lot's of government play in many segments. Surely not on top of any of that in my world! A possible obstacle - not sure. Bob
