IIRC, I mentioned that Putin had Europe by the balls when he invaded Ukraine in '14, as another reason to green up. Sounds like his hand has now slipped off.

That's not helpful. I notice that Putin is the only world leader who was able to influence them, albeit in the wrong direction.. I'm with the "re-think our relationship" crowd. It's time to re-visit the Carter Doctrine. Maybe the West should quit providing arms to the Saudis. They can trade oil for arms with NK or China, and trade the arms to Russia for wheat.
