I suspects politicians aren't into economic darwinism, and understand that they must at least appear to be trying to help consumer-voters who are struggling to pay for gas. -- "I bet that's exactly what you're thinking, that we are just one or two years away from that utopia." Actually, I'm thinking "WTF can't he remember that I keep saying 'maybe by 2050'?"
