I want to replace both coal and natural gas with the sun, wind, water, geothermal, biogas, and storage.

LMAO! "Put 'em together and what have you got? bippity-boppity-boo". Wave the magic wand and "We're off to see the wizard"..

Wait a minute. Time to get real. You forgot the massive and unobtainable additional quantities of copper, nickel, lithium, cobalt, graphite, vanadium and all of the rare earth metals that would be needed needed to get to your 2050 greenie utopia. Windmills, solar panels and batteries could not exist without them.

If it were even possible (which it's not) to extract the amounts of these elements needed to completely replace carbon energy, the environmental devastation would be disastrous.

The article with graphs and video at the link below explains why achieving your "green revolution" is impossible. It ain't gonna happen because it can't happen, unicorn farts and fairy dust to the contrary..

What you are, Ratty, is a zealot living in a fantasy. You're old enough to know better, unlike that spoiled little Swedish brat, Greta..
