I think that the thread has been attempting to take out some of the mysticism related to Naxos and relate facts. "Rumor Mongering" as we have called it really only provokes ill will. This "Rumor Mongering" at its most basic level is informing the thread that you have "inside" information.
I think on some level each of us has some type of information regarding Naxos. The information may have come about from putting two or more facts together to create a new "fact", or it may have been hearsay, or we may have had an epiphany!
Regardless of how the information has arisen, I think it shows a lack of prudence to distribute this type of information. You have elaborated about your "track record" of correct assumptions....That is Great Sir! You are probably raking in cash by the Hefty trash sack these days! I applaud your efforts and thank you for thinking of us.
I do not, however, see how your tidbit of information was meant to help me in any way. If you have a valuable source whom may be supplying you information...be smart...keep your friends cover. Be as valuable a friend to your friend as he has been to you. If this is not the case....then I question your motivation. Either way...it is senseless to post such information.
I am quite content in waiting for information to be released through the proper channels. I hope that all information to, from, or about Naxos Industries begins to flow through the proper channels.
Jerard is correct...if it weren't for the rumor mongering on this thread, and if we really look at the way Naxos has handled themselves, I think Naxos had handled themselves professionally.
I often wonder how many "lurkers" are out there watching us and reading our posts. Sure we have the insiders and probably a few brokers, and some company people. But I think we also have some potential investors who have heard of us (I know we do because I have informed more than a few) and who keep an eye on our postings.
For this reason I think it important to keep our posts as legitimate as possible. Sure we all speculate about this or that!! This is informative and fun. But let us not carry on the same rumors that we heard from this or that person and distribute them through this thread. It gives Naxos an whiff of illegitimacy that it is not due.
On a lighter note: The "I will be watching over you!" thing....Thanks for the sentiment....but please
do us all a favor and quit keeping an eye on me/us and go keep your eyes on Tricky Bill.
