It'll be a while, cuz he'll challenge the amount of the awards as XSive, and they will prolly be reduced. 2) What percentage of that goes to the families themselves, what percentage goes to the lawyers, and what percentage goes to the IRS? Jones has to pay the legal fees. The top federal tax bracket is 37%. The top bracket in Connecticut is 6.99%. -- He still has one trial to go.
