SCOTUS just ordered the circuit to vacate as moot at the request of the plaintiff. No substantive opinion on any merits of the dispute. So the PA Sec State is free to go about the shenanigans.

The circuit below found that undated mail-in ballots can be counted. So the plaintiff, trying to make sure the decision can't be used as precedent for this election, requested that SCOTUS order it vacated as moot because the election was already over. It was a bit of a chess move.
