Alex should not respond to Herb; * CUBE does't need Herb to get its message out * CUBE should time announcements to the company's benefit, not respond to Herb now because he has limited time at his old job * responding to Herb will only enhance his credibility, given Herb's treatment of CUBE, the Company owes him no favors
