The "close my account" link did not work, so I ended up calling. They claimed they were having engineering difficulties and could not close my account. We are on the fifth day of me trying to close my account! I will call them again after work today. Hold time was 45 minutes last time I tried, so I gave up.

PayPal is reportedly offering account holders $15 to prevent them closing their accounts after the platform shamefully threatened to steal their money if they express the ‘wrong’ opinion.
