LindyBill used to say - for as long as they give us real things in exchange for our paper, he was OK with that.

Cheap and abundant consumer goods are a very good thing. It makes life comfortable for those of us who can’t afford $70 tee shirts and other such things.

But we also depend on China on many things that are a matter of survival. Like medications.
