I'm unaware of any wars that did not see rape as a part of the activities. On both sides. We certainly perped our fair share in Vietnam and Iraq. I guess when you are out there blowing people's heads off and watching their corpses rot away in the sun, rape probably seems like an aggression that is not all that serious by comparison.

The Ukies and the Russians have both been accused of rape by the civilian populations under their control. Ukraine was more or less a peaceful place, and then we had to foment a coup and overthrow their govt so we could put a thorn in Putin's side.

The Ukrainians, both west and east, bit especially the eastern Russian speaking half, have had to pay a steep price for our "democracy building". shenanigan's.
