Checked it, SWR…. It seems, there is no prohibition of them being from the same state - but it’s not a good idea, since an elector cannot vote for 2 people from the same state. This can screw things up in a close election, like 2020. (Luckily, not long before the elections, Cheney got a Wyoming drivers license. He owned a property in that state).
