Just for your info I read this morning that RF Micro Devices is building what they claim is the largest gallium arsenide chip fab in the world in Greensboro NC $70 mil, 40,000 Sq. ft, and will employ 185 people. They will be building RF frequency IC's for the wireless communications market. I find this to be someshat bearish for Anadigics and possibly Vitesse, both biulding their own new chip fabs. Doesn't this mean some increased direct competition for GA chips?
