| | | Appreciate your thoughts. Just to be clear, there was no vote, and nobody complained to me.
Since nobody wants to be moderator, and I am unwilling to put it to a vote with unknown participants, AND I had enough of him, I banned him. He was evidently looking to try and rile me up, so I took care of it.
If he is so cocksure ( lol! ) of his call, where is his post of investing in 3X short funds?
He is just hiding here, as I do it all the time:
"The only way you are going to get absolute confirmation that a person is actually doing what they say is by them posting the actual trade slips of all the buy/sell orders, which is not very practical and completely unnecessary."
Mannie doesn't want to play his game, so he is selfish:
"Unfortunately, Mannie has not responded one way or another yet. He has apparently chosen the selfish path here of just taking without giving back when the thread is in need of a strong moderator."
He generally has no idea what he is talking about:
"You know what I think, Steve, I think you are afraid of the coming decline in the stock market and you are lashing out at the messenger, rather than the message. Don't blame me for the decline and the next big leg down. Blame the Powell Fed; they are the ones who are trying to prepare you for the pain, pain, and more pain that is coming. You gave up on this thread when the Bear started and went into hibernation on your other short term thread."
When the bear started? lol! I posted here Dec. 2018 that I had started in on growth stocks. As I saw that going further, and aligning with the thread less, I started posting on another board in May of 2019. Later I quit posting my updates here altogether.
Must be he doesn't read my other thread. If he did, he would know that I want to beat the S&P. If we are both down, I don't care, as we won't need the money, and I am setting my IRA up for my kids to inherit.
He had this right and repeats it often: "It is quite easy to determine whether you are in the right stocks: all you have to do is look at the value of your brokerage account."
Currently ahead of the S&P by double digits for the year, and things have been good since I started making the switch. S+P 500 w/divs reinvested since Dec. 31, 2009 =....+309% My IRA $178,518 to $924,716 = ..+419%
I figure it is just one less pompous know-it-all show nothing in my life. |
