It's a HUGE PITA* to plan for a road trip in an EV. I wouldn't even do a trip in a Tesla to Napa or Sonoma without extensive planning.

Maybe Brandon's infrastructure bill will improve the charger situation across the country, especially in rural areas. But as of now, taking an EV on a road trip is still in the "early adopter" phase.
