That was my argument against Pelosi visit to Taiwan. The result is that China will make sure they’ll never again be treated as if they mean nothing.

Pretty sure the Pelosi stunt and then the second congressional delegation that followed (one led by Stephanie Murphy), were stunts by the administration to get the Chinese riled up enough to do something stupid -- which would then given them a justification for sanctions.

Apparently they've never heard of the Russian proverb -- "China's final warning" -

Speaking of China, have any of you noticed a dramatic shift recently in where your goods are made? iPhones now being made in India; clothing and shoes now largely made in Vietnam and India; cheap plastic goods made in Cambodia; and even things like electrical switches now being made again in the United States.
