I think it’s an exaggeration. The panic Russofobs live in former soviet now EU countries - Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. They live well in the EU. Both Russia and especially Ukraine had economic progress stalled
by corruption, how else would Vlad be as rich as Musk and Zelensky worth half a billion while his country is
torn by war and broke.

So it is them - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia who push for more sanctions and are scared shitless to be dragged back in the USSR. Add Poland, Romania, and Czech Republic to that. East Germans don’t want it either.
Not sure about the Nazi there, just Russofobs who, in turn, agitate the entire EU.

Ukraine wants to live like their neighbor Baltic countries but local Tzars keep robbing the common folks.
It’s secret service, the SBU, is also a lot worse than it’s Russian cousin these days I hear. The KGB was
strong in Ukrainian SSR.

Russia did invade with guns tanks and rockets. Ukraine is not the only ssr Russia invaded. I think the West
needs to support peace efforts in Ukraine instead of sending advanced weapons. This puts us all way too
close to a nuclear Armageddon. Russia does not want NATO on its border. Understandable. Deny Ukraine membership and support peace or be nuked into Stone Age and a possible extinction of humanity. I feel those are the choices.
