It all starts at the start of a wave. The program then looks for harmonic patterns that are made from specific ratios. You do have to learn what the ratios are and what the mean. It also has potential logic that will show you a pattern before it completes.

That's all it's doing, the patterns can be drawn and seen without the program. The program is just a tool.

I blew up the ratio's so you can see them better.
