When all is said and done, I just hope they don’t blow up the world as we know it. It will all come down to a few people making decisions about whether we live or die. If they don’t go MAD - with everything else, in time, things can be worked out. As far as borders changing - in that part of the world they’ve been changing a hundred times, all through history. This will not the last time.
Zelensky’s advisor Alex Arestovych predicted years ago that there would be a war, just around this time - and the Russians would, likely, take away Eastern Ukraine. But, in his view, that would be not the end, but only the beginning of a series of wars - which, eventually, would be won by Ukraine. Up to now, he is spot on. I think the Russians foresee the same thing - that’s why, now, they’re demanding regime change in Ukraine, with an installation of a friendly government. |
