Let me make a suggestion to you- a repositioning cruise. I hate flying to Asia (although Fiji airlines gives you a nice break in Fiji if you fly them) but we are coming back from Sydney on a Princess cruise (26 days) that will take us right to SF! And it was the same price as an economy class ticket in economy plus! Crazy, right? I added internet, drinks and wifi to our package and it was STILL less than a business or first class plane flight- and we get to visit all sorts of cool places on the way back. The ships go to Australia in the fall and come back in the Spring. Maybe Princess will have another blow out sale- I reserved our cruise for 2 bucks and I pay nothing until January 2024 :-) They had a special on reservations- which was SO MUCH FUN. Also, buy 100 share off CCL and they give you free money every time you cruise. I just sent off my proof of ownership today for a cruise I am taking in November with my daughter. RCL offers the same shareholder benefit and also has great repositioning cruises.
