I think humans are toast- so I am just going to have fun. I have urged my kids not to have children and to live their best lives now. Do it all and do it now. After all, Putin could start a nuclear war tomorrow- not much we can do about that. And really, the climate is a run away train at this point- it's over. As you know, we've lived through tons of fires in Cali- and no doubt there will be more. The planet will be just fine and I don't really give a shit about humanity. If humans die out something "better" might come along. Like dolphins with opposable thumbs. (I do try to minimize my plane trips because I loathe flying- but that just means I do back to back cruises and try to cruise home or to my destination. )
