My understanding of a successful cbm well is that there must be coal present in a porous enough state to allow passage of methane gas if it exists and there needs to be water covering the bed.If one of these is missing you don't have a producing well. You don't even have to bother sending in samples to a lab.You abandon the well and take your losses. So far the well is to undergo further on site evaluation.Does anyone know what kind of evaluation or what they need to evaluate at this point?

Cheers,

JR.
