Oh yeah. He’s a lib - but not a screaming lunatic, like many of them. And yes, he attacked DeSantis for refusing to pray in the church of “climate change” - but that’s an obligatory, ritualistic attack. The author wants to keep his gig with the FT. But, he also mentioned positive things - the man is smart, a hard worker - given a choice between reading a detailed 85 page memo or a 2 page summary, he’ll always pick the memo. The author sounded positive about the governor's CoViD strategy - with Florida being, essentially, “the land of the free” since October of 2020 - AND - the outcomes were better than average. He even mentioned by name one of his consultants - Dr. Bhattacharia. My overall sense - the writer conveys grudging respect.
